Next time I go camping I’m considering going to North Park. I’ve never seen a live moose and it sounds fun to hang out in the moose viewing capital of Colorado and see the “Moose Center”. The geocaching outdoor treasure hunting game sounds like a lot fun too. After a long day of fun I would hang out in my tent and watch TV using my Tailgater from DISH Network. I found out about the Tailgater portable satellite system because I work for DISH and it’s a perfect compliment to all my camping trips.

Your edit solves the problem 100%, thank you for making the change so promptly! I'm impressed, and also because you credited the videographer. :-). It's important to discourage illegal flying in those beautiful sites because that will see them closed to everyone. You're certainly right in that SA & OZ are great places for overseas PG pilots to come during their freezing winter, and the Fleurieu is indeed a stunning place to fly. Visiting overseas licensed pilots need only to get a cheap visiting pilot membership online from the National organisation, the HGFA, then contact the local club (no fees to pay) and the locals will take you to the flying sites, share beers with you at the pub and talk the usual Aussie bullshit for a truly unique experience. :-))) . Google South Australian Hang Gliding Association for contact details.

Hi Helen - actually, no, we did NOT know it was completely illegal. We've made adjustments to the text to note that. The purpose of the travel ideas is to give a wide range of travelers ideas on places they can do things they love doing AND to introduce them to new ideas and to new places. One could make the same argument that it's also completely illegal to go fishing in some jurisdictions without a license but that most anyone who would pursue a fly fishing travel idea would come upon that requirement as they moved forward to make the dream come true (or would already know). In a similar way, scuba diving also requires certification as do any number of other hobbies and interests. That does not make the travel idea any less valid for an appropriate audience.

It's a little too bad, sigh, that what we are hoping to make a fun sight with travel ideas and nice videos might take a non-magical turn into a place of warnings, requirements and labels (do NOT try this at home), but perhaps that is just the way the world is today sometimes. We hope you enjoy some of the other ideas that can be executed without licensing.

You do realise that it's completely illegal to fly a paraglider without a licence, don't you? That you must learn through the HGFA, which is administered by CASA. There is no paragliding instructor in South Australia. It's like you've said, "Hey, why not come and fly a Cessna over the coast of SA?" I have no idea where you got this idea from, but it's ridiculous.

Greece is really a worthy destination - it's hard to beat the crystal clear, aquamarine waters. For a less traveled destination in Greece (read: avoid tourist crowds!) - try the SIthonia peninsula in Halkidiki in northern Greece. The mix of sandy, empty beaches, azure blue waters and pine covered hills makes for a beautiful, relaxing vacation spot. We just keep coming back every year.
