Travel Ideas: Get off the beaten path to bicycle through Ethiopia.

Editor’s Notes: Our host offers some glimpses into the special experiences as well as hard work that awaits you on a bicycle tour into one of Africa’s more remote destination, Ethiopia. (WARNING: there’s one scene that’s a little gross). The scenery is beautiful and unspoiled. The Blue Nile Gorge offered spectacular vistas and the green patchwork of local farms takes the rider back to a simpler and more pastoral time.

Additional travel ideas include a visit to Lake Tana and travel along the Omo River. Lake Tana is one of those places where the journey is the gift. Our bicyclists got there with great effort.
