The Arundel Lodge is an older establishment with tiny cabins and hearty meals and harkens back to a simpler time and audience. It now sits quietly on a tip of Walkers Point. There are almost 8,700 miles of shoreline in the area, historic towns and villages and countless waterfalls and lakes. Algonquin Provincial Park is to the east and the thousands of islands of Georgian Bay Islands National Park to the west. Peninsula Lake’s Pow-Wow Point Lodge, over 90 years old, is an old-style, all-inclusive resort with simple summer pleasures like campfires, canoeing, and volleyball.
